NEXUS Civil Concept is starting with the realization of the first year of the Operational Grant for the Program for Prevention and Building Community Resilience Against Radicalization that leads to Violent Extremism “At the Nexus of Security and Development in the Republic of North Macedonia”, with the support of the European Commission from the IPA Civil Society Facility and Media Programme 2018-2019 / Operating Support to Civil Society Organisations in the Republic of North Macedonia / Reference: EuropeAid/164650/DD/OPR/MK
The program will be fully implemented by NEXUS Civil Concept and will aim to support prevention and countering VERLT in the Republic of North Macedonia through a “whole-of-society” approach for improved citizens’ security and resilience against these phenomena. The program will engage effective cooperation with all relevant national institutions for continuous exchange of information and joint implementation of better P/CVERLT initiatives; will build local community resilience against VERLT; will assist the rehabilitation and reintegration efforts in the country for the vulnerable groups; will promote youth resilience against VERLT and address specific youth development challenges in the country; and will support responsible and professional reporting in all media for improved overall public awareness about P/CVERLT.
